1 Day Photo Explorations 2026

My workshops focus on learning by doing and draw inspiration from my extensive travels and experience in photography. The most asked question is, “What will I learn?” First, we will look at “seeing” photographically, the ability to recognize a composition and understand how to capture it. All those f-stops and shutter speeds matter because different combinations create different effects. We will explore those combinations and then put them into practice. We will examine potential compositions from an artistic perspective rather than simply documenting your subjects, and consider how lens selection can change the dynamics of your images. This is a great opportunity to bounce ideas off each other, compare notes and spend time shooting without the day-to-day distractions of life. This day belongs to you.
