Polar Shift, Bringing the Polar Regions to Toronto

In November 2025, Huntsville Doppler featured my upcoming Polar Shift exhibition at the TIFF Lightbox in Toronto. The exhibit focused on capturing the beauty, scale, and changing landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic regions through photography. (Huntsville Doppler)

The exhibition featured more than 20 large-format images photographed during my travels through the polar regions, including Antarctica, South Georgia Island, and the Southern Ocean. These landscapes are among the wildest and most remote places on Earth, shaped by ice, weather, wildlife, and constantly changing light.

The article by Doppler highlighted what made the exhibit especially meaningful to me: bringing images from some of the planet’s most isolated wilderness areas into the heart of downtown Toronto. Hosting the exhibition at the TIFF Lightbox marked one of the largest public presentations of my work to date. (Huntsville Doppler)

Polar Shift was created not only to showcase the beauty of the polar regions, but also to encourage viewers to think about our connection to these fragile environments. The polar landscapes have an incredible ability to make people pause, reflect, and appreciate the scale and power of the natural world.
